Mike’s career in financial planning spans more than 35 years. Mike provides holistic financial planning advice for the owners of closely held businesses, corporate executives and retirees. He finds most prospective clients have already engaged in some level of financial planning. In fact, many already have a qualified CPA and attorney. However, a lack of coordination among advisors frequently results in unnecessary expenses and missed opportunities. Following a refined, objectives-based process with each client ensures no stone is left unturned. Mike believes that financial planning is an ongoing and ever evolving effort to ensure a client’s objectives are ultimately fulfilled.
Mike earned his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1995 and his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1997. In 2001, he passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ examination. After earning his CFP® certification, Mike served for several years as an adjunct faculty member for DePaul University’s CFP® Certificate program. Mike also holds FINRA Series, 6, 7, 22, 24 and 63 registrations. He is also a member of the prestigious The Resource Group*.
Mike is an avid supporter of Misericordia Home in Chicago. Misericordia offers a community of care that maximizes potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities, many of whom are physically challenged. Mike resides in the near west suburbs of Chicago with his wife Cathy.
